Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets – Tucker, Purnell, More Join Staff

After finishing the 2008 season 5-11, the Jacksonville Jaguars were looking to make some definite coaching changes during the offseason. While head coach Jack Del Rio kept his position, others were not so fortunate. The split with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was called amicable by Williams’ agent, and he will now be replaced by Mel Tucker. Special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis joined the staff of the Dallas Cowboys, leaving an opening in Jacksonville that was filled with Russ Purnell. The defense struggled this season, ranking 17th in total defense and 24th in passing defense, allowing 224.1 yards per game. They also ranked 13 in rushing defense. The special teams didn’t fare much better, ranking number 18 in kick returns. Fans can see how the new coaches revamp the team with a Jacksonville Jaguars tickets http://www.stubhub.com/jacksonville-jaguars-tickets/.

Tucker was a player at the University of Wisconsin prior to becoming a coach.

Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets- Collier Remembers Shooting

If the man who shot Jacksonville Jaguars offensive linemen Richard Collier was hoping that the 14 bullets he hit him with would fog his memory, they were wrong. In a recent interview, Collier says that he remembers everything from that night, from being in front of the apartment building to being brought to the hospital by ambulance. This is bad news for alleged shooter Tyrone Romaroo Hartsfield, who recently appeared for a pretrial hearing. During the hearing, Hartsfield’s lawyer filed a motion for the addresses of Collier and other witnesses. The result was that there will be another pretrial hearing in December. Hartsfield has been charged with attempted murder as well as the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. So far, Hartsfield has pleaded not guilty to the shooting on September 2, which left Collier paralyzed from the waist down and without one of his legs.

In the same interview with Collier, he commented about remaining positive about

NFL Tickets – Teams Continue Changing Coaches

While the biggest stories in coaching changes have revolved around teams changing head coaches like the Detroit Lions, New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns, other teams are making more minor changes to their ranks in order to revamp certain aspects of their team. Even after making it past the first round of playoffs, the San Diego Chargers decided to replace four different coaches. The Chicago Bears also changed coaches, taking on former Detroit coach Rod Marinelli in the process. Two of the most recent teams to make changes are the Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints chose to get rid of defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs and instead hired Gregg Williams to fill the spot. The Dolphins have reportedly replaced exiting offensive line coach Mike Maser with Dave DeGuglielmo. See your team’s new coaches with NFL tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/nfl-tickets.

The Saints were obviously in dire need of a defensive overhaul.

Detroit Lions Tickets – Coaching Search Narrows

The Detroit Lions made history this season, but not in a good way. They became the only team in all of NFL history to finish the season 0-16. While this record wasn’t one that team’s fight for, it did equal some hope for fans as it meant the team would have to go for a major overhaul in the offseason. First, they fired president Matt Millen midway through the season. Coach Rod Marinelli knew he was next, and sure enough, the Lions cut him loose at the end of the season. Other teams who dropped their coaches at the end of the season, like the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos, have already chosen replacements, and the Lions seem to be getting closer to picking their next leader as well. Two of the front runners seem to be Todd Bowles and Jim Schwartz. Be there for the next era with Detroit Lions tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/detroit-lions-tickets.

Schwartz has reportedly already been back for a second interview with the Lions, which means a

NFL Tickets – Week 5 Power Rankings

Here are the top 10 teams in the NFL as I see them going into Week 5 of the 2009 season, listed in order.

New York Giants: The Giants are 4-0 and looking strong on both sides of the ball. Their balanced attack on offense looks better each week and this team could be in for a Super Bowl run again, but Eli Manning hurt his heel late last week and he could be hobbled by it. If it continues to plague him throughout the season, the Giants could become vulnerable.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts look better and better each week. Peyton Manning is the frontrunner for MVP and the defense is stepping its game up in a big way. I like what I’m seeing from this team in all facets. If there was one player I could buy NFL tickets to see play, it would be Manning.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints took down the Jets, exposing Mark Sanchez as the rookie he is. This defense is for real, but the team has also shown that their passing game can

Welcome America & The World – I am ObamaStein. I am not here wanting your money or to take any thing from anyone. I comment and talk about things that I have strong feelings about. If you have a problem with my views, my criticizing Obama or anyone else, if you have a problem with my outfit, mask anything else -that is your damn problem! My “mask” represents the monster that our (Fed. gov.) has become. I am a reg. Indp. voter. So I owe nothing to either party. I am not here to please or support anyone! The Jags need 50957 season tickets to be sold to avoid blackouts. Right now they are at 34159. Some 15000+ short. There is (no one) on this team to excite the people around here – NO ONE! The Jags are like your worse mother-in-law scenario. Someone offers you a fantastic trip or spend the weekend with your mother-in-law. You will take the trip every freaking weekend to avoid that old broad. Just as most people around here are beginning to go for almost anything other than the pitiful Jacksonville Jaguars! Are the Jags heading to LA? Who knows & most here do not care! A weekend with my mother-in-law would not be as boring as watching the Jags lose another game!

NFL Tickets – Week 5 Fantasy Pickups

Here are some players that could be worth picking up in your fantasy football league.

Kyle Orton, Quarterback, Denver Broncos: Orton may not be a sexy play at quarterback in fantasy football, but he’s been solid and steady this season for the Broncos. He’s not going to wow anyone with his arm, but he seems to be settling into Josh McDaniels’ offense pretty nicely. He’s got a solid group of wide receivers and Brandon Marshall seems to be coming on now that he’s in football shape. This team seems to move the ball decently and though Orton is not going to blow you away with his numbers, he’s a pretty good backup to have for your quarterback’s bye week and as an injury insurance policy.

Sidney Rice, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings: Rice seems to be developing a solid rapport with Brett Favre over the last two weeks. He’s got nine catches between those two games, scoring in both contests. Rice has a lot of talent and the speed to be a

Carolina Panthers Tickets – Ready to Pounce

The Carolina Panthers are one of the most underrated teams in the NFL this season, and the cats are quietly sneaking up on the playoffs, ready to pounce against their tough tail end of the regular season. After beating the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions in Week 9 and 10 games that were expected to be blowouts but instead were close calls, the Panthers continue their winning streak on the road, hoping to come out on top of their next and last six regular season games that include matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and New Orleans Saints, respectively.

When it comes to the epitome of Carolina’s success this year under head coach John Fox, the only answer to the Panthers’ overwhelming wins lies within the team’s depth. Quarterback Jake Delhomme has been an invaluable asset to the Panthers after missing most of last season due to an arm injury and reconstructive surgery, and his

Detroit Lions Tickets- Furrey Placed on Injured Reserve

As of week 13, the Detroit Lions are still winless with a record of 0-12. The team gets a chance to be in the spotlight every Thanksgiving when they host the traditional turkey day game, but unfortunately this year they were paired up with the league-leading Tennessee Titans. The result was that the Lions were stuffed more than the turkey, losing 47-10. The Lions got more bad news days after the game when the Lions chose to put wide receiver Mike Furrey on injured reserve after he suffered a concussion. To compensate for the loss, the Lions added wide receiver Keary Colbert to their roster. Fans are inevitably excited to see what Colbert can do and they can be a part of the Lions final stretch of the season by getting Detroit Lions tickets and other sporting event tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/detroit-lions-tickets.

Furrey went to college at Northern Iowa and had more than 1,000 yards in three different seasons there. He first joined the

NFL Tickets- More Injuries in Week 14

The regular season may be drawing to a close in three short weeks, but that doesn’t mean that teams aren’t dealing with injuries. In fact, how a team deals with injuries at this point in the season is often the difference between a playoff berth and a longer offseason. Week 14 equaled more injuries for teams, some of which required placing players on injured reserve. The Washington Redskins’ left tackle Chris Samuels ended up on injured reserve after week 14 as did the Denver Broncos’ tailback Peyton Hillis and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defensive back Chad Nkang. Fans can still see the teams try to fight it out at the end of the seasons by reserving their team’s NFL tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/nfl-tickets.

Samuels tore his triceps during the fourth quarter of the Redskins game against the Baltimore Ravens where the Ravens won 24-10. He has been with the Redskins since they selected him in the first round of the 2000 draft as the third pick
